Here is My Testimony from Today's Hearing on the Proposed (Very Damaging) New Pre-K Grant Rules

6a00d8341d88c053ef010535e682c8970c-450wi Here is the testimony I provided at today's hearing on the proposed Pre-K Grant rules.

I have previously posted (here and here) concerning the proposed rules.

Under the proposed new Rules, not only is our grant funding at significant risk, but in order to qualify for the grant we will have to drastically modify our fully-developed, content rich curriculum.  My prior post included a draft letter to the Texas Education Agency for editing by clicking  this link: Letter to TEA Concerning Prekindergarten Early Start Grant Program.doc. (This is a MS Word document).

Spring Branch's website now has some additional information that you will find very helpful.

Email your comments and letters to the Texas Education Agency at rules@tea.state.tx.us.  The deadline to submit written comments to the Texas Education Agency is December 1, 2008.
