Occasionally I get asked why I serve as a school board trustee. The picture below is a huge part of the answer.
In December, the Board voted to fully fund Pre-K for 2009-2010, even though it appears that the District will be losing approximately $2 million of State funding. Shortly after that vote, I received a package in the mail that contained the two flip-chart pages depicted in the picture. These pages are from Lion Lane School, one of the District's Pre-K Centers.
