Here are the primary differences between the two proposed calendars:

The calendar survey for the 2007-2008 calendar continues until October 31, 2006.  In my view, the most meaningful difference between the two proposed calendars is that Calendar A (.pdf) finishes the first semester prior to the Winter break, while in Calendar B (.pdf), the first semester does not conclude until January 11, 2007.
